I am so smitten with this Santa Monica house, it’s crazy. I mean just look at the 750 sq ft pool!! and it’s 9’ deep!  The pool in the center ends up anchoring the main house, guest house and office. And with the pool so prominent, it almost feels like a little lake with a dock. Let’s just go ahead and add this to my list of dream houses.

While I was out driving this weekend, I came across this crazy little pink motel and diner. As I’m wandering around taking pictures, this little old man rolled up to me on his Rascal scooter and proceeded to tell me a 20 minute history of the place. It could have been a Jazzy scooter though, you guys. I don’t know.

I really wanted to ask him if there were pink heart shaped beds in all the rooms, but didn’t want to ruin the image in my head if I was wrong. He told me if I had “some internet” I could probably find out more.

I told him that I might be able to find some internet.

I spent all day yesterday hanging out with an awesome group of people and making a music video. It was my first time directing, but it couldn’t have been any better. We shot in the middle of the desert at three really great locations. There were a few hiccups, but luckily we had a smooth talking member of the band to save the day.

I’m so incredibly excited to go through all the footage from yesterday. Can’t wait till I can share it!
